Your captures.
Your choice.

Fraint keeps your work on your Mac. You decide what leaves it.

Captures and notes

Screenshots, annotations, text, and saved recordings are stored in editable note files on your Mac. Fraint doesn’t upload them to a Fraint server.

Voice

Voice transcription uses Apple’s on-device speech recognition. A language model download may be needed. Saved audio stays with the note. Microphone access is requested when you choose to record.

Sharing and agents

Copy for Agent writes an annotated image and request into the project folder you choose, then copies a prompt to your clipboard. It doesn’t run Codex or Claude, or send a request on your behalf. What you paste into another app is handled by that app.

iCloud

Sync is optional. When you choose to sync a note, Fraint writes a review copy and editable archive to your selected iCloud Drive folder. Apple handles the transfer between your devices.
